March's Winner Unveiled!
At Majesticare, community is not just a word; it’s a guiding principle. We are committed to supporting and empowering those around us, and one of the ways we manifest this commitment is through our Majesticare Grant Scheme. This initiative, designed to offer assistance to charitable causes and community projects close to the hearts of our team members, embodies our ethos of giving back and making a positive impact.
Empowering Communities: Milly’s Inspiring Vision
In March, we had the privilege of witnessing the profound impact of the Majesticare Grant Scheme as we awarded the grant to Milly from Milton Ernest Hall. Milly’s application stood out among many deserving entries, capturing the essence of community spirit and support for local initiatives.
Milly’s focus was on aiding the local All Saint’s Church in raising funds for a much-needed addition: a toilet facility. While seemingly simple, the absence of such a facility had been keenly felt by the community, including our residents. Milly’s vision went beyond mere convenience; it was about creating inclusivity and accessibility within the church, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or ability, could participate fully in community activities. The grant awarded Milly with £250 to go to the building of these facilities.
March’s Majesticare Grant Judge
Every Majesticare Grant has an independent judge, a different judge each month picks which winning application stood out to them. Amanda from Cohesion Recruitment was the judge for March, she recognised the significance of Milly’s proposal. Not only would it benefit our residents directly, but it would also serve the broader community, highlighting the essential role care homes play in local life. Milly’s initiative exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and mutual support that defines Majesticare, demonstrating our commitment to actively engaging with our communities and working together to make a difference.
Celebrating Milly’s Achievement
As we celebrate Milly’s Grant, we extend our gratitude to all those who submitted applications. Each proposal was a testament to the remarkable generosity and ingenuity within our community. We encourage applicants to continue applying in the future, as every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
