Five years of Cavendish Park Care Home

Five years ago, Cavendish Park Care Home was nothing more than a piece of land in Evesham. But with the vision of Majesticare’s Director and Chairman alongside a dedicated team, this blank canvas was turned into something special—a home built on warmth, care, and community spirit. Since its grand opening, Cavendish Park has grown to be a beloved part of the Evesham community, a place that feels like family to its residents, team members, and the local community.

The Birthday Celebrations…

The day began with a heartfelt Community Coffee Morning, where the sound of music filled the air, courtesy of Piano Hedgehog, a local musician who provided lovely background tunes. This event wasn’t just about cake and coffee—it was their way of saying thank you to the community groups and members who have been integral to Cavendish Park’s journey. Their support has been transformational, helping them build a place that’s not just a care home but a heart of the Evesham community.

Black Tie Event

As evening fell, the celebrations continued with an elegant Black Tie Event. The evening was filled with canapés, sparkling prosecco, and soothing sounds from a live saxophone performance. It was a time for mingling and reflecting on the journey so far. We were honored to host the Mayor of Evesham, alongside the relatives and families of the residents, making it a true family affair.

One of the highlights was a beautifully crafted 5th birthday cake made by the talented Chef Julia. Each guest also went home with handmade goody bags lovingly created by the Cavendish Park Team. To capture the fun, they had a glitzy photobooth with personalised props, creating memories that will be cherished for years.

Speeches from the Home Manager, Mel Hoskins, and Majesticare’s Director, Steve Oakes, brought the celebrations to a close. Their heartfelt words captured the essence of what Cavendish Park has grown to be—a place of passion, care, and dedication to the residents and community alike.

A Special Celebrity Message

To top it all off, Cavendish Park received a special message from legendary broadcaster Angela Rippon! As she celebrates her own milestone—58 years since she appeared on television—Angela sent her warm wishes to Cavendish Park, making our anniversary all the more memorable with her kind words.
