A Season of Warmth, Community and Meaningful Moments
Christmas at Majesticare is about so much more than decorations and presents. It’s about people coming together – residents, families, friends, colleagues and neighbours – to share kindness, laughter and moments that truly matter.
Across all our homes, the festive season was filled with warmth, music, conversation and togetherness. From quiet cups of tea to joyful carol singing, each celebration reflected what Christmas means in our communities: connection, comfort and care.
Here’s a look back at how Christmas was celebrated across our Majesticare homes.
Oaktree Court
Festive Comfort, Familiar Songs and Special Visits
At our Care Home in Somerset, Christmas was wrapped in cosy moments and heartfelt connection.
Residents gathered for a Christmas Afternoon Tea, enjoying unlimited hot cups of tea, delicious cakes and festive chats. It was a simple pleasure, but one that created the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, reminisce and enjoy each other’s company.
On Christmas Eve, the home was filled with warmth as residents enjoyed rich hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, alongside gentle laughter and cosy conversations. Later that afternoon, residents and staff came together for Christmas Eve Worship, celebrating hope, peace and joy through carols, prayers and shared reflections – a meaningful moment of calm during a busy season.
The festive magic continued with a very special visitor. Santa Claus took the time to visit residents personally, handing out presents, sharing smiles and spreading Christmas cheer throughout the home.
One particularly heart-warming moment came when three young girls visited Oaktree Court, filling the home with laughter and song. As they sang Christmas classics, memories were sparked and moments from childhood gently returned, creating smiles across the room and reminding everyone of the joy that spans generations.

Togetherness, Tradition and the Joy of Connection
Christmas at our Bedford Care Home, focused on creating moments that truly matter.
On Christmas Day, families and loved ones were warmly welcomed into the home to sit together and share a festive meal. Around the tables there was laughter, storytelling and even a few happy tears – the kind of warmth that can only come from being surrounded by those you love.
The season was made even more special by small, heartfelt gestures. Kelly shared beautiful Christmas moments with residents Geoff, Evelyn and Helen, filling the room with kindness, laughter and genuine connection. It was a powerful reminder that Christmas isn’t about what’s under the tree, but about the bonds we share.
Residents also enjoyed spreading festive cheer beyond their own home. During a Festive Go Caroling trip to Manton Heights Care Centre, they were greeted with smiles, met new friends and sang Christmas carols together – a wonderful example of how community and friendship can grow at any age.

Music, Community and Festive Cheer
Our Care Home in Evesham embraced the joy of Christmas with music, shared moments and celebration.
Residents were treated to a truly memorable experience with an Elvis Presley tribute performance. The festive tunes, familiar songs and a touch of rock ’n’ roll brought smiles, laughter and plenty of toe-tapping moments, filling the home with energy and festive spirit.
The home also hosted its last Community Coffee Morning of the year, bringing people together to share conversation, companionship and Christmas cheer. It was a chance to slow down, spend time together and celebrate the season as one community – residents, visitors and neighbours alike.

Haddenham Park
Family, Gratitude and Festive Magic
At Haddenham Park Care Home in Buckinghamshire, Christmas was filled with love, gratitude and community spirit.
The team and residents came together for a joyful celebration, with the private dining room beautifully transformed into a cosy festive setting. It was the perfect space for P and M’s family to enjoy Christmas Day together, sharing a meal, laughter and precious time as a family.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day so special – especially Danny and the fantastic kitchen team, who prepared a beautiful Christmas dinner and ensured festive cheer and smiles were shared all around. Their dedication helped make the day truly memorable for residents and families alike.
The festive fun continued with Santa’s Workshop, where crafts, glitter and giggles filled the morning. Residents, families and neighbours came together to create decorations, share laughs and enjoy the magic of Christmas creativity. One of the most special parts was getting to know more of our wonderful neighbours, reminding us just how important community connection really is.
Throughout the festive fortnight, Haddenham Park was filled with everything that makes Christmas special: family visits, shared stories, music, smiles and a strong sense of belonging. Together, residents, families and the wider community created memories that will be cherished long after the decorations come down.

A Season to Remember
Across Majesticare, Christmas was a celebration of people – their stories, their relationships and the communities they create together. Whether through a quiet conversation over tea, a shared carol, or a family meal around the table, each moment reflected the heart of care: kindness, connection and compassion.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this festive season so special. We look forward to carrying this warmth and sense of togetherness into the year ahead.
