PAMMS Inspection at Milton Ernest Hall: A Testament to Quality Care

Last week, our Majesticare Care Home in Bedfordshire,Milton Ernest Hall, underwent a comprehensive PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution) inspection by Bedford Borough Council.

What is a PAMMs Report?

This inspection evaluates the quality of care homes, focusing on aspects such as care planning, resident experience, team training, knowledge, care environment, equipment, and leadership. During the inspection, assessors spoke with residents and team members, gathering valuable insights about the care home. Here are some of the results:

“Residents spoken to all stated that they felt very happy with the support they receive. Of the three resident surveys received, all three residents felt that they were safe and supported by care staff.”

Team Knowledge

Rating: Good

“All team members were observed interacting with the residents, offering choices around meals, activities, and personal care. It was felt that there was a very happy and friendly atmosphere between the team and residents.”

Team Deployment

Rating: Good

“The home is slightly overstaffed at present due to the current number of residents. This allows them some flexibility to allocate team members on shift with extra duties. The home has not had to use agency workers for some time.”

Care Planning

Rating: Good

“Likes and dislikes for activities, meals, and social interests were recorded along with childhood memories and working life information. Each care plan has appropriate goals set in line with the individual’s level of ability.”
