Majesticare Compliance Manager and her School Friends Skydive Tribute
A GROUP of old school friends are reuniting to skydive in memory of a classmate who died.
Phil Burrows was taken ill after he wed American sweetheart Mandy Hansen in July and died just three months after their wedding at 36 years old.
Angela Boxall, Compliance Manager for Majesticare and previous Home Manager of Ashfields Care Home in Heanor knew Phil, so when her friends floated the idea of a fundraiser in his memory Angela didn’t think twice about getting involved. They are now organising a charity skydive in memory of Phil, who enjoyed adrenaline-fuelled hobbies such as sky diving and bull-running. The sky dive will take place on 23rd April 2012. The friends also organised a fund-raising bag-pack at Tesco's Heanor store.
