I trained as a Nurse in Exeter Devon, qualifying in 1981, from where I joined the Intensive Care Unit for a number of years, before doing a Special and Intensive care of the Newborn Course.

I moved to North Devon in 1988 and eventually moved into the private care sector where I have managed Care Homes in North Devon for over 15 years. Achieving the Registered Managers Award, Assessors award and level 3 Palliative care.
