I’ve worked in elderly care for over 30 years, firstly as a care assistant until I made the decision to train as a Registered Nurse as a mature student. I qualified in 1992 and I have always been passionate about caring for the elderly.

So I returned to the nursing home where I worked previously as a staff nurse and worked my way up to Deputy Matron. I came to Tewkesbury, 8½ years ago as Matron. Then when Majesticare bought Tewkesbury, I became Home Manager.

I’ve always been very proud of Tewkesbury Care Home and the valuable team within it. We’ve been through several changes for the better over the years, the most recent being a new 15-bedded extension, which opened this year.
