What our CQC star ratings mean

Find independent reports and quality ratings on Majesticare care homes in your area to help you make the right choice. The Care and Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent body that inspects all care homes in England every three years.

Ratings indicate how a home scores according to the National Minimum Standard (NMS). This is based on a home’s track record on health and personal care, individual needs, promoting dignity, daily life, social activities and approach to care practice. The ratings only tell you what quality of care our homes provide; they don’t relate to price. We’re proud that 100% of our homes currently score excellent or good.
