The park is set in attractive countryside of woodlands, meadows and lakes with an extensive network of easily used paths, some suitable for wheelchair users. There’s a visitors’ centre, shop, cafe and toilets and hand cycles for disabled people.
Well worth a visit, the new Derby Cathedral Centre is located in a grade II listed building opposite the Cathedral. There’s a coffee shop and gift shop, an education centre, a library, exhibition and meeting rooms, a treasury displaying the Cathedral's historic objects, a biblical garden and listening rooms.
Beautiful Chatsworth is a must-visit attraction. One of Britain's best loved historic estates and home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Chatsworth has famous works of art, a working farmyard, spectacular fountains and the finest shopping and eating, so there’s plenty to do on a day out here.
