Sally Latham, Home Manager at Lawton Rise Care Home

I’ve been the Home Manager at Lawton Rise since January 2007, and was approved by the then CSCI as the registered manager later the same year. I’m an experienced nurse, having spent many years in a hospital setting, and the past 8 years in the independent sector.

I’m fully trained in Care of the Elderly and have recently completed a diploma level award in Dementia Care in affiliation with Surrey University. I’ve the Registered Managers Award, and am an approved Moving and Handling and Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) trainer. I’ve a special interest in delivering quality dementia care and as such, I’m very lucky to work at Lawton Rise, with the skilled and dedicated team we have here. The home is fortunate to be part of the Majesticare group, who share a wealth of expertise, are very forward thinking in their approach, and extremely supportive to us all.
