Sally MacGregor, Home Manager at Hempton Field Care Home

I trained as an Registered General Nurse at Guys Hospital in the 1970s and then pursued a nursing career in a specialist orthopaedic practice. I’ve specialised in the field of elderly care since 1990.

I joined the nursing team at Hempton Field as a staff nurse in 1999 and in 2001 was made Deputy Matron. In 2008, I was appointed Home Manager under the Directorship of Majesticare. I have very high expectations of my well-qualified nursing team and care team, many of whom hold NVQ qualifications.

I’m proud to say several care staff have progressed to achieve nursing qualifications and returned to join the team here. We have high standards along with the homely family feel experienced by staff, residents and their families alike.
