Lashbrook House Raise Funds For the Red Cross

A party with a Second World War Theme  was held
at Lashbrook Care  Home to Raise funds for the British Red Cross.
Residents at the home  and their families listened to live Forties and
Fifties Music and enjoyed traditional war time  food. Authentic military
tents were erected  in the garden and winning raffle ticket numbers were
drawn out of a replica bomb,   Pennie Carter  the home’s
activity coordinator arranged the party to celebrate the 150th
anniversary of the British Red Cross.  She said “ the residents really
enjoyed the party and it brought back a lot of memories”.

Tewkesbury Care Home has World Cup Presentation Day

Each
Year Majesticare  support the World Cup Day,
Representatives  Suzanne Meadows Social Care Manager  and
Alicia  Watson  Activity coordinator from  Tewkesbury Care
Home  were invited to Present  the  ‘Majesticare Community
Shield’  which this year  was awarded to Roy Sumner for services to
the community.      Suzanne said “ The football
teams  regularly visit the home and the residents
love  to ask questions as to how well the teams are
playing”.

We attend every year and our residents really
enjoy the World cup day.
